Here is a simple but lovely English sampler done by M.R. Robinson at the Bowness School, Windermere. Date unknown. The needlework has faded to a salmon color. There are a few areas when the thread has thinned but it’s a lovely piece. Gently mounted on a white matte board and easily removed if desired. The textile measure 7 3/4” x 13 1/2” mounted on a 8 3/4” x 14 1/2” board.
