Pursuant to California Assembly Bill 1263, we no longer ship firearm parts, accessories, or tooling to the state of California.  

This is High Standard 1911 and 1911A1 World War II erabarrel.  The bore rates very good. It is marked "P" on one side and "HS" on the other.  These are incredibly scarce. 


All parts sold must be checked, installed, and assembled by a qualified and competent gunsmith as some components may or may not require fitting depending on the tolerances allowed by the manufacturer, vintage, and potential re-manufacturer (if an aftermarket piece). 

The Gun Garage has been servicing vintage firearms since 1974 with a shop in the heart of Connecticut before moving to Arkansas in 1994.  We have a lot of experience, but certainly don’t have all the answers.  That being said, we’re always here to answer any and all questions you may have as we truly enjoy helping folks out so please feel free to “ask away!"

  • Auction Style Listings - we will absolutely combine shipping for multiple auctions.  If you don’t see an invoice with a revised shipping charge, please do not pay it or we will miss it in shipping.  We will send you a revised invoice within 24 hours of the auction closing.
  • Guaranteed Delivery Program - if your parcel is late and does not make the guaranteed timeline listed in the auction, eBay Inc. is offering credit to our customers. Simply call eBay’s customer service at: 1 (866) 540-3229, let them know your parcel is late, and they can take it from there (usually in the form of eBay account credit).  We meet the guidelines for this program because we generally ship the same or next business day. Our highest STAR rating is our shipping and handling time.
  • RETURNS - vintage firearm components can be very confusing at times which is why we have a Hassle-Free 30-Day return policy for ANY REASON AT ALL:
    • Did we make a mistake? Things happen. You’re covered. 
    • Did we send you the wrong order? Whoops, sorry about that! You’re covered.
    • Did you order the wrong part? It happens all the time. You’re covered. 
    • Find it cheaper somewhere else? No problem! You’re covered.
    • Return shipping is on us and you’ll receive a complete and total refund unless the piece has been altered, damaged, used, or has exceeded the return deadline of 30 days from receipt in which case you may receive only a partial refund at our discretion.   • LOST SHIPMENT - If the USPS has lost your item, we’ll make every effort we can to locate it.  The USPS guidelines have a 21-Day policy for domestic shipments before they deem them “lost”.  We generally replace/refund the order sooner than that but that’s up to the attitude of the customer.  We’re humans over here – if there’s a problem, please bring it to our attention, civilly, and we will fight tooth and nail FOR YOU, not against you. Your sale is covered financially and if we can replace a vintage component – we certainly will.
  • DAMAGED SHIPMENT - If you have received a parcel that has been damaged in shipment, please remit photos of the label, parcel, damage, remaining contents (if any) and we will take care of it ASAP.
  • REFUNDS - Refunds are generally given the same day (or the next business day) an item is returned to us.
  • International Bidders - per eBay policy, international bidders are required to furnish a domestic US address as we cannot ship firearm components overseas.  No exceptions.
