13-inch MacBook Pro (2016–2020, Intel models)
This model originally shipped with the 61W (A1718) charger.
MacBook Air (2018 and newer, including M1/M2 models)
These come with 30W or 35W chargers, but A1718 is fully compatible and may charge slightly faster without harm.
Originally shipped with a 29W/30W adapter, but the 61W (A1718) charger works fine.
These models shipped with 61W or 67W chargers. A1718 is compatible.
Designed for higher-wattage adapters (67W–96W), but A1718 will charge them at a slower rate, especially under heavy usage.
15-inch MacBook Pro (2016–2019)
These need an 87W charger. A1718 can charge them, but slowly and may not keep up under load.
16-inch MacBook Pro (2019 and newer)
Designed for 96W or 140W chargers. A1718 underdelivers for these machines.
