Description:
There are countless uses for non-adhesive, sew-on Hook and Loop. It can be used on clothing, as originally designed, to replace zippers and buttons. Hook and Loop is great for holding tools and equipment to walls and on backpacks, handbags and luggage. The woven hook tape consists of minute, flexible "hooks" which engage with a mating tape comprised of small, soft loops. When the two sides are pressed together, the hooks and loops catch and hold the pieces together. When separated, the strips make their characteristic ripping sound.
Sew on Hook and Loop is even used by both NASA and the military on their uniforms, equipment, vehicles and numerous surfaces.
Notes on Use:
It is best to use 1-1/2" hardware with this product. D-rings, buckle, triglides etc. are sized by the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with.
This versatile material has many usages such as the following:
