I met him at a convention and was shocked to find out he had one leg and that was why he was chosen to play Quiggold, who has a 'pirate style' stump. He also told me he was in a medieval battle scene (I think it was Braveheart) where he gets his 'fake' leg sliced through with a broad sword - so it looked authentic! He also told me what is was like on the set of The Force Awakens - a very nice man indeed!
