This is a first edition of The Specter from the Magician's Museum by John Bellairs and Brad Strickland. Jacket art and frontispiece is by Edward Gorey. This is published by Dial in 1998. This copy was sent to a library as a Review Copy. The library stamped it as a Review Book. It was never circulated or marked as a library copy. It is otherwise new, unread, and unused. Original price of $15.99 is on the jacket flap. This book is as new! 

This is titled John Bellair's Lewis Barnavelt in the Specter from the Magician's Museum by Brad Strickland. This copy is new and unread, but has the preview stamp from a Library system on the front endpaper. No other writing or marks. 

John Bellairs died early with this very beloved and popular series unfinished. Brad Strickland took over the series using Bellair's scenarios and characters. Finding copies that are not former circulated library copies or well read and used, is fairly uncommon. This copy is beautiful!
