Gain sound, not performance with this kit. It replaces the factory Y pipe with two high quality 16 gage Jet Coated parts. The mandrel bent J pipe directs 100% of the rear cylinders exhaust and heat to the left muffler. Our straight pipe finished the job on the right side. Rider and passenger comfort is greatly improved on hot days. Installation takes less than 2 hours. Factory heat shields are reused. Works with stock or any OEM replacement muffler. O2 port is provided on 07-08 kits. Remapping is not required. However, when combined with other performance parts, dyno tuning will give the best overall performance.
