These are some simple, yet effective flies to have in your box. They are high floating due to the CDC plumes and can be fished on either rivers or still waters. They particularly work well when you see fish rising but not quite sipping off the surface, a true sign that the fish are feeding on emergers. The body of these flies is streamline and made up of only tying thread with a bit of UV resin to ensure that the body sits below the surface while the CDC remains above.
