This Listing is for ONE NEW Pane of 6 Inverted Jenny $2 Stamps from 2013.
Mint. MNH. No flaws. From a Smoke-free and Pet-free Environment.
On September 22, 2013 in Washington, DC, the U.S. Postal Service issued this pane of 6 Inverted Jenny self-adhesive $2 stamps to honor the grand opening of the William H. Gross Stamp Gallery at the National Postal Museum. Each stamp features a commemorative reprint of the famous 1918 stamp error with the upside-down airplane (from the first 24¢ airmail stamps).
Steven Noble of Petaluma, CA created the selvage steel-engraving artwork around the stamps, depicting the National Postal Museum, aviation pioneer Reuben H. Fleet, a map of the first scheduled Air Mail route, and a compass rose.
