This Listing is for ONE NEW Sheet of 20 Red Tulips 5¢ Stamps from 2024
Mint. MNH. No flaws. From a Smoke-free and Pet-free Environment.
The U.S. Postal Service issued these 5¢ Red Tulips self-adhesive stamps on July 18, 2024 in Berkeley, CA - in the Low Denomination Flowers series. These definitive stamps feature five red tulips on a yellow-toned cream background (with the number of flowers matching the number of the stamp denomination cents). To create the image, photographer Harold Davis backlit the arrangement of flowers on a light box and combined multiple photographic exposures, resulting in the luminous, transparent look.
In addition to photographing the flowers, Harold Davis also grew these flowers in his backyard in Berkeley, CA. In the language of flowers, red tulips are most commonly associated with deep love, passion, and respect.
