These door pin guides help you line up your door pins and put your doors back easily. The door bushing removal tool helps to remove your Jeep corrosive hinges.

8 black delrin bushings come with a bushing removal tool so you can remove your factory bushings and install your new door liners.

Note: You will need to prepare a hammer in advance if you use this Door Bushing Removal Tool.

 

Usage: By using the door pin guides align the top cap and lower the door so that the bottom is in place. Use a hammer to tap the door bushing removal tool until the liners are totally removed. If you find that it is not suitable for your car, use some type of grease or lube for the new bushings and use a rubber mallet to get them in place. Maybe it will work well.

 

Steps:

1. Insert the top of the tool into the bottom of the door hinge.

2. use a hammer that you have prepared, tap the door bushing removal tool until the corrosive hinges are totally removed.

(Tips: Use a screwdriver or chisel and hammer to bend the lip of the old bushing up. This will allow you to spray some WD40 or other penetrating oil into the bushing. Do this on all the other bushings and by the time you come back to the first it will be much easier to pound them out.)

3.  Install the new door hinge liners into the original place. (Tips: Use a hammer to GENTLY tap the new plastic inserts in. The residual oil will help but if you have excessive corrosion from the old inserts you may have to clean or scrape them out to avoid breaking these new inserts.)
