Your clock spring housing must have a slit for spring to fit.  

This clock spring will not fit if there is a pin in the housing.

The clock spring must stay closed (steel strapped) during installation.  

Please be careful.  A sprung spring can cause damage.  

Wear all protection necessary.  

This spring is best if it is pressed into the housing.
