Pokemon Channel PAL (Europe and Australia) Authentic CHANNEL Jirachi and/or Shiny CHANNEL Jirachi Event Distribution Service for Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon FireRed, and Pokemon LeafGreen (Please Read Description!)

THIS IS NOT A LISTING TO PURCHASE THE (PAL) POKEMON CHANNEL GAME OR ANY ITEMS THAT DISTRIBUTE THE CHANNEL JIRACHI, ANY PHYSICAL GAMES, CARTRIDGES, DISCS, GAME SYSTEMS, PHYSICAL MEDIA, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. THIS IS A DISTRIBUTION SERVICE WHERE YOU MAIL YOUR POKEMON RUBY, POKEMON SAPPHIRE, POKEMON EMERALD, POKEMON FIRERED AND/OR POKEMON LEAFGREEN CARTRIDGE(S) TO ME TO RECEIVE THE POKEMON CHANNEL JIRACHI OR A SHINY POKEMON CHANNEL JIRACHI.

Hello, thank you for viewing this listing. This listing is for a distribution service which involves you mailing your copy of Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon Fire Red, and/or Pokemon Leaf Green to me, where I will then use my authentic Pokemon Channel PAL (the European and Australian release of the) game to distribute a legitimate and authentic CHANNEL Jirachi to your game save.

When Pokemon Colosseum released in the United States, those who pre-ordered the game before said release would receive the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc, which could distribute Jirachi to Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. However, when Pokemon Colosseum was released in Europe/Australia/PAL regions, there were no pre-order bonuses like that to be found, meaning that players in those parts of the world were completely locked out of receiving the mythical Jirachi for a time, unless they somehow had access to a US GameCube (the system is region locked) and somehow got their hands on the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc. Due to this, when the Pokemon Channel game was released in those regions, it was decided that they would create a new Jirachi distribution for that game which would be only unlockable in the PAL release, to make up for the lack of any way to obtain a Jirachi for those in the region. Due to the lack of sales for this game in the region though, this distribution, and game as a whole, has gone under a lot of people’s radars, which has unsurprisingly led to the PAL release of Pokemon Channel going up extraordinarily in price over the years. This distribution service is meant to allow those who want to gain access to the Pokemon Channel Jirachi the opportunity to do so without having to pay the absurdly inflated price for the disc. This Pokemon makes a great gift for those looking to relive the generation three games with a rare Pokemon, those looking to authentically complete their Pokedex, event Pokemon collectors, among many other things.

(This listing contains bonuses alongside the Pokemon Channel Jirachi, including free bonuses as thanks for purchasing, along with available purchase options for authentic Shiny Jirachis and more, so check out the bottom for further information.)

General Information:

Upon purchase, messaging me or showing interest, I will go ahead and run through all of the requirements your game(s) need to meet in order to receive the service(s) of interest. There are typically other questions I ask as well, usually in regards to customer specifics and the like, but assuming all of your answers demonstrate a clear ability for your game(s) to partake in the service(s), I’d then give the okay for you to purchase (assuming you hadn’t done so already), and once you have done so, I will send you my address to move things along. I highly recommend you message me before placing an order, as in the event that for whatever reason you cannot receive the given service(s), it makes it so I don’t have to cancel any orders, as well as making sure you don’t get your hopes up. Regardless of the end result, I encourage you to reach out - please message me if you have any questions, concerns, interests, requests, etc.

(The price of) shipping is all on you; please try finding the most cost effective way to both make sure you aren’t paying large costs to ship your game(s) out, and also make sure your game(s) remain safe. When your package arrives, I will let you know as soon as possible and work on the services whenever I have the opportunity.

During the distribution process, I will message you frequently to share updates on how work is progressing. I will always include photos of the important parts of any given service in said updates, so if there is anything specific you would like to make sure I share, please let me know and I will do what I can.

When the distribution service(s) is/are complete and I’ve gotten confirmation from you that all of the work I’ve done on your game(s) looks correct and as you want it, I will mail your game(s) back to you as soon as I can and you’ll be free to use your new Jirachi(s) once your package makes a safe return.

The Pokemon Channel Jirachis distributed in this service, including the shinies, come from an authentic Pokemon Channel PAL disc copy and are 100% legitimate and legal and are thus compatible with Pokemon Bank and Home.

Detailed Information:

The distribution process for receiving the Pokemon Channel Jirachi, also referred to as the CHANNEL Jirachi, may vary depending on which games you wish to send in along with the status of said games. If sending in AUTHENTIC cartridges of Pokemon Ruby and/or Pokemon Sapphire which have not yet had Jirachi be natively distributed to it (The WishMaker Jirachi does count), then your cartridge will be able to have the Jirachi be natively distributed onto your game save. Unlike the WishMaker Jirachi distribution though, there is actually an additional requirement for receiving the Channel Jirachi - along with needing your cartridge to be authentic and needing to have an empty slot in your party for the Jirachi, you will ALSO need to have beaten the Elite Four on the Ruby or Sapphire game. Assuming you have met all of these though, then the Channel Jirachi will then be distributed to your game and reside in the priorly empty slot in your party. In the event that it has not yet been done so already, the Berry Fix update will also be applied to your game. This distribution can be performed at any time assuming you have the Pokedex unlocked. If you would like for me to verify the authenticity of your cartridge(s), please send clear photos of their front(s) and back(s) and I’ll tell you the verdict.

In the event that you are sending in an authentic Pokemon Ruby and/or Pokemon Sapphire cartridge which has already been distributed a Jirachi hasn’t yet beaten the Elite Four, is a reproduction Pokemon Ruby and/or Sapphire cartridge, or any type of Pokemon Emerald cartridge (both authentic and reproductions work), then you will need to have Pokemon ready for use as trade fodder in your party, as I will instead distribute the event Pokemon to my own cartridge and then trade it to you from there. Please have the Pokemon already prepared to be traded in your party. If you are mailing in (a) Pokemon FireRed and/or Pokemon LeafGreen cartridge(s) (both authentic and reproductions work) then on top of having the trade fodder ready, you will also need to have completed the main game (beaten the Elite Four and Champion) and unlocked the National Dex. This is because Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen have a trading restriction placed on them where any Pokemon that are from outside of the Kanto Regional Pokedex are not allowed to be traded into the games, and said restriction is lifted once you unlock the National Dex. If you have not yet unlocked the National Pokedex in FireRed and/or LeafGreen yet, then I unfortunately will not be able to trade over the Jirachi. If you mail one of these games to me and I am unable to trade, I will refund you and mail your cartridge(s) back, but I cannot refund shipping. Please try to avoid this outcome at all costs; I assure you it’s not fun for either party.

In the event that you are looking to receive a shiny Jirachi however, then regardless of the authenticity of your game or if you have received a Jirachi natively in the past, you will be traded the Jirachi due to it being essentially impossible to get one without a detailed set-up on your save, which your game will most definitely already be far beyond (among other reasons included in the “Bonuses” section).

When distributed, the Pokemon Channel Jirachis also automatically comes holding one of two berries; the Salac Berry or the Ganlon Berry. Both of these berries are exclusively and only obtainable via Jirachi distributions and Pokemon Colosseum’s Mt. Battle mode, and it is completely random which berry yours will be holding.

SHINY JIRACHI - Using RNG Manipulation, you can get the Pokemon Channel game to guarantee a shiny Jirachi distribution. The process itself is very difficult to explain, but to make a very long story short, it’s possible to manipulate the Jirachi you receive thanks to how Pokemon generation works in third generation games by using very specific methods to predict your game’s RNG seed. There are tons of sources documenting how this incredibly tedious process is done if you don’t think this is a real thing; it is and it’s not a fun process. However, having a genuine shiny Jirachi is pretty fun so it balances itself out. Due to the nature of how manipulating the RNG works along with the very specific circumstances necessary to get a shiny Jirachi (fresh save, specific Trainer ID and Secret ID, frame data, trainer name, wild Pokemon encounters, internal clock battery needing to be dry, etc), this process will have already been done on my Pokemon Sapphire copy, and thus I will trade over the Shiny Jirachi when ready. I’m not gonna lie about it to make this process sound simple, cause in theory it's very easy, but this process was a nightmare and required loads of trial and error to get working. Thankfully, the save file I have prepared to distribute the Shiny Jirachi has already been backed up and can now infinitely distribute them.

The cost of a shiny Jirachi is double the cost of a normal Jirachi. For example, the shiny Jirachi is $30 ($15 x 2). If you are interested in a shiny Jirachi, simply buy two of this listing (and of course, let me know that you want a shiny Jirachi and not two standard Jirachis).

BERRY GLITCH FIX - (Already mentioned, but making sure you’re aware) In Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, there’s a glitch where the internal calendar will stop being tracked properly, which can result in all planted berries to stop growing among other problems, though the berries no longer growing is the most well known issue (hence the name “Berry Glitch”). The Pokemon Channel Jirachi distribution automatically patches and fixes this bug when distributing the Pokemon Channel Jirachi if it has not been patched already. This of course only can get fixed if being distributed normally and not through trading and doesn’t need to get patched on Pokemon FireRed, Pokemon LeafGreen or Pokemon Emerald since the former two don’t have internal clocks and the latter had it fixed before its release.

FREE STARTERS - For every Jirachi up to the third one purchased, you can receive one of three Generation 3 starters (Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip) completely free as a thanks for purchasing. For one Jirachi, you get one starter, two Jirachis equals two starters, and naturally three Jirachis equals all three starters. You will only receive bonus starters if you say you’d like to receive them, so please make sure to let me know of such. Please be aware that you will need to catch Pokemon for use as trade fodder so I can trade them over to you.

MULTIPLE GAMES/JIRACHI - If you happen to want a Jirachi on multiple of your Pokemon Gameboy Advance games, multiple Jirachi on one copy, or even a mix of both, that’s very much so an option. As mentioned, if ordering 2, I will guarantee you will get one of each berry as well. This service’s listed price is on a per Jirachi basis. Prices will lessen the more games/Jirachi you send or ask for, as shown below. Keep in mind this list isn’t set in stone seeing as I have best offers enabled, so this list is more of a point of reference. Please also note that as stated, the price of a shiny Jirachi is double that of a standard Jirachi, so double each of these in your head if looking to get multiple shinies, or a mix of shiny and normal.

DISCOUNTS - For customers who are already sending in their cartridges or customers who have sent in their cartridges in the past will be offered discounts on any distribution services going forward. The discount will vary from service to service, but if you are/were interested in multiple services, this can act as a great incentive to purchase them. And before you ask, yes, this DOES stack on top of the already existing discounts given from purchasing multiple of the given Pokemon/service.

FAQ:

I often get asked a lot of similar messages and questions about my services, so I’ve decided to list many of them along with their answers to prevent as much confusion as possible, as well as a few other important things I feel customers should know. Of course, if you don’t see a question you have in this section, feel free to send me a message so I can help out. This section is frequently updated with new questions and improved/more detailed answers.

“Do my GBA Pokemon game’s internal clock battery being dead matter for this service?:”

No - your Pokemon game’s internal battery does not affect my ability to perform this service for you in any way regardless of if it is still functional or currently dead.

“Do you offer a service to replace a GB/GBC/GBA Pokemon game’s dead (internal clock) battery?”

Unfortunately not at this moment, though I want to in the future. Once I feel comfortable enough with the soldering process (and of course have spare batteries), I will consider it further.

Can I purchase a cartridge with the events already on them, rather than mailing my own game in?”

No - I only have one of each Pokemon game, and they are my own personal cartridges. This will very likely never be something I offer, unless I happen to stumble upon spare copies through some means. Please do not bank on the small chance of this happening.

“Is this service done via cheating (GameShark, Action Replay, etc)?”

Typically, none of my services involve cheating in any way and are all done to be as authentically as possible. Any that may be considered cheating or not legitimate are explicitly stated as such within their respective descriptions. Feel free to ask about the specific ones if you so wish.

“Do you take requests for special and/or custom orders?”

I cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to help with specific and custom requests, but it never hurts to ask. Feel free to send me a message about whatever you’re looking to receive, and I’ll tell you if I’ll be able to help out. If it’s something I can help with, I will probably create a proper listing out of it!

“Do you offer your services internationally? Can I mail my game in despite being outside of the US?”

Yes, all of my services are currently set up for national shipping. Just to say, please be aware of the high costs that come from partaking from outside of the US since you are paying for both shipping to and from. If purchasing multiple services from me and shipping does not automatically combine, which it seems to not do if buying overseas, please let me know so I can refund you the $25 back.

“Do these services work on non-English cartridges?”

Yes, a vast majority of my services will work on non-english cartridges. Naturally some of them require a bit of a different process, such as if you want the Oak’s Letter distribution service performed on a Japanese copy of Platinum, I would instead distribute the authentic Japanese Wonder Card instead of the English one since it wouldn’t work properly, but the end result would still be the same ans result in you receiving an authentic Oak’s Letter.

“Do I have to send in my system along with the game?”

In regards to cartridges being played on GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS, no - those cartridges’ save files are stored within the cartridges themselves, rather than something like the Nintendo Switch save files, which are stored on the system itself regardless of if playing a game physically or digitally. For non-cartridge/digital games however, most of which in this case refer to the 3DS (eShop, Virtual Console), then yes, you would need to send in your entire system.

“Can you transfer this Pokemon up to a different generation and trade/transfer it from there?”

All events shown are technically compatible with all future generations unless they’re a Ticket/Item distribution service like the Eon Ticket or are specifically mentioned to not transfer up (to Bank and Home), so if you want a Generation 3 WishMaker Jirachi in Pokemon Black 2 for example, let me know and we can discuss this. I’m aware that many will want me to transfer these up into Bank and Home for trading purposes, and yes, I can go ahead and do that too if you so wish. With that said, please be aware it may take a bit of time to transfer everything upwards, and I admittedly do not particularly enjoy this process for anything prior to Gen 6.

“Do you plan to offer services for other Pokemon games (LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA, SV, Home, etc)?”

I definitely have plans for services for other Pokemon titles in the future, though I don’t have much more concrete information to give at present time. Making these services is a lot more work on my end than it may seem, since I have to write up the description (which as I’m sure you can tell, I always make as thorough and detailed as possible), make the thumbnail, take the best pictures possible, update previous descriptions to include the new listing as a service I offer, update the Q&A if required, and so on. Regardless, this does tie into the special requests and custom orders section too - if you’d like me to perform a service on any of these games, feel free to ask and I’ll see what I can do here as well.

“Under what circumstances will you cancel or refund an order?”

Upon purchasing one of my services, I will send you a message on the matter. If I notice that you have not yet replied after a few days, I will send a follow up message. If I notice again that you have still not yet replied, I will send a final notice, and if I manage to see that you have still not yet replied, I will cancel your order. With that said, It is not my responsibility to babysit your purchase. If I do not hear back from you, even if you have actually replied at some point, it is very possible I will forget about your purchase, move onto helping others who are keeping contact, and therefore not cancel your order. The moral here is, if you did not mean to purchase one of my listings/services, simply tell me you wish to cancel the order.

“Do your services run for a limited time only? Do the listings end once the quantity reaches zero? Should I purchase now to avoid missing out?

Don’t worry - I plan to go ahead and keep these services going for as long as I can, though there will likely be times in the future where I temporarily stop working on them for a bit, likely due to school or vacations and such. Outside of that, no, I do not plan to stop my services anytime soon. Additionally, I always increase the quantity of each service when it gets low, so you will always be able to purchase in the future. With that all said, I advise you to please not purchase unless you feel you are ready to mail your game out, as admittedly due to the way eBay is set up, they do expect me to purchase a shipping label for use within the coming days after a purchase is made, so to avoid that, it is best to wait until you feel ready to proceed with the service.

“Why are your shipping times so long? Do I really have to wait that long to receive my game back?”

Don’t worry - the shipping times and estimated delivery dates shown are not correct whatsoever. The estimated shipping and delivery times only show as such a long time purely so I can give the customer as long of a time period as I possibly can to mail their game out. As mentioned in the previous question’s response, eBay expects me to purchase and prepare a shipping label after a certain period of time, so I have the maximum shipping time set to give as much time as possible for the customer to get their package ready and the like. Keep in mind that I naturally only want to purchase a shipping label when I’m ready to actually ship, so purchasing one and then having it expire is definitely not something I’d like to have happen.

“How do I know this service is legit? How do I know you will mail my game back?”

Easily my most commonly asked question, and one I naturally fully understand. Sending your games or even your entire 3DS/2DS to someone you don’t know can be very intimidating and concerning, so I hope the reasons I give share can be understood and go beyond “that’s morally wrong!” To start, please keep in mind that in order for me to actually receive your game/system, I have to send you my address, so if I ever were to not send your game back, you now have my address, proof of a valid purchase, a listing linked to said purchase, and an account you can report to eBay. I also give out my full name when giving my address if anyone needs it for their package, so you would have even more information on me as an individual you could report if need be. I hope that these reasons give you a good idea of why such wouldn't be feasible on my end, and ultimately an incredibly poor idea. Finally, I always urge those concerned about such to check the reviews left from previous customers who I have worked with in the past. As always, if you have any other concerns over this, feel free to message me about it.

“Anything else I should know?”

It goes without saying, but just to have it on here and to make sure it has been properly disclosed with anyone considering partaking in my services, please mail out your games at your own risk and only if you are fully comfortable with doing so. As can happen with any piece of mail being sent out, packages can get lost during the shipping process and may not arrive on time, or unfortunately, may get lost with mailing services being unable to find, locate or recover your package, resulting in the package and game(s) remaining forever missing. As of typing this, I have yet to ever fail at recovering a lost package (including one that was genuinely lost for over three months), but I cannot guarantee the safety of all packages, as packages getting lost can and probably will happen in the future. By partaking in this service or any service I offer now or in the future, you are aware of and acknowledge the possibility of such occurring, no matter how small of a chance it may be. In the unfortunate event of such happening and we both feel we have done everything we can to recover your package to no avail, the most I can do is give you a full refund for your purchased services (shipping may or may not be refunded as well depending on if it got lost when you mailed it to me or when I mailed your game(s) back to you, but anything beyond that I can not and will not help you with.

Thank you for reaching the bottom of this description. If you have any questions, concerns or interests, please don’t be afraid to ask. Finally, please note that I am just an average person and may not be able to respond right away, so I do hope you can be patient. Be on the lookout for future distribution services/listings from me in the future for many other generations’ worth of Pokemon events. For now, seeing as you’ve reached the bottom of the description and likely have an interest in Pokemon events and distributions, below you will find the services I currently have available, along with ones I plan to have available in the future. Thank you again for your interest in my services and supporting a college student’s little business, and I hope you have a great day!
