The WASHINGTON is a full featured amateur radio with AM, FM, LSB and USB modes, CTCSS/DCS, 4 channel memories, and a large, 7 color LCD display. It features talkback, VOX, PA, AM/FM/LSB,USB Mode switch and built-in ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter) filter. It includes an S-meter, an F / Menu function key, and 6-pin microphone.

The WASHINGTON has two rather unique features not found on other President radios.The Repeater Split allows you to enter customize the transmit frequency offset value and the offset direction as positive or negative. The Automatic Relay function turns your radio into a relay point. It allows you to automatically transmit a message received on a channel to a transmit channel for up to 5 minutes.
