The base is made from thermally modified wood (thermowood), a durable and eco-friendly material treated by heat instead of chemicals. This treatment enhances the wood’s resistance to moisture and decay, while preserving its natural look—making it both practical and sustainable.

Each piece is handcrafted in Japan, which means there may be slight imperfections, minor scratches, or asymmetry. These are not flaws, but rather part of the charm and character of a handmade art object.
