Worcester Flight period tea bowl and saucer of fluted spiraled form, decorated with gilt floral sprays, with stylised floral motifs in gilt on a cobalt ground, on circular foot swirl fluting and with a thistle motif. The decoration appears to be entirely hand painted. The small crescent mark in underglaze blue inside the foot of the cup and saucer dates that piece to about 1783-92 (the Flight period).

The tea cup measures approximately 2 3/8 inches high with a 2.5 inch diameter opening and a 1.5 inch diameter base. The saucer measures approximately 5.5 inches in diameter and has an unglazed foot. It also has evidence of prior restoration as shown in photos. The cup has a chip to the base of the handle as shown in photos.
