Will this work with my system?
The Leak Saver works with all air conditioner and refrigeration systems. It is compatible with all refrigerants (except ammonia) and is compatible with all oils.
How does the Leak Saver work?
After injection, The Leak Saver sealant circulates throughout the system with the refrigerant. If there is a small leak, the sealant reacts with the moisture and oxygen at the leak site to form a permanent "scab-like" seal.
What do I need to install the Leak Saver?
To inject the Leak Saver, you will need either a basic set of manifold gauges or our Leak Shot injector. When using it with automotive systems, you will need a 134a to 1/4” adapter. Ductless mini-split systems may require a 5/16” to 1/4” adapter.
What size leak will the Leak Saver seal?
The Leak Saver is able to seal small refrigerant leaks where the complete charge is not lost within 7 days. If this is not possible, your leak is too large to be repaired with Leak Saver.
