Rolex has become the most important brand in watches through the success of its steel sports models. The Daytona, Submariner, GMT-Master, Datejust, and so on are all steel models first, with precious metal and two-tone options functioning as an extension rather than the primary focus. So what happens when Rolex focuses its energy on producing something that is a little more dressy and precious metal first? Well – the Cellini – that's what.

Cellini has been used as a catch-all name for Rolex dress watches since the early 1970s. Rolex really did their best work for the Cellini. This Classic case has polished flowing lines with a smooth bezel, and a well-sized crown size which is a pleasure to use. The dial has been well thought-out, providing sunburst design which will flourish to go with the time.

The unique champagne dial has raised gold baton markers. It is a simple execution that is done well and gives the Cellini a distinctive appeal.

Cellini watches offer something unusual in that they are nicely considered and very dressy designs from one of the most in-demand sports watchmakers in the world. This 3810 Cellini is a great vintage example of what made the Cellini a sleeper offering from a brand largely known for its steel sports watches.

Dial has small micro marks not noticeable to the naked eye only under x 4 loupe magnification commensurate with age and wear, please observe photos. In good overall condition.

Rolex went to considerable trouble and expense to ensure its small Calibre movements performed equally as well as its larger movements, and they succeeded!
