This is actually a great ankle brace for kids. The pad for the inside is nice and soft. It's thick too so it keeps the child's foot from rubbing on the plastic. He said it was fairly comfortable but the plastic was very slippery to walk on. Overall the quality is pretty good and I'd say it's effective.
