transfers an appropriate image to the switch, and provides an environment
so that the installer can load the network OS onto the switch. Each OS has an installer which tells a switch “Write on me,” I’m over here!

How does this affect me?
We don't offer setup instructions as we are selling a Bare-metal switch. 
Although ONIE provides maximum flexibility to allow you to install an OS installer, and OS of your choice, 
If you don't have one, you will need to get one. Lack of research could result in a waist of your
time and money and ours as well.

NEED TO KNOW
No OS is on this Unit, therefore this means that you'll need to source your own software Image and OS installer.
ONIE does provide smooth installation and Maximum flexibility when it has an OS installer Image and an OS needed for the process. Without these already existing in your network or available to you, You'll have to acquire them on your own. 
We don't sell software, OS installers, or OS Images, and we don't provide them, or know where to get them. A little research goes a long way.
