One of the most popular Geographic map/studies. From the Arctic circle to the border of South America, many tribes of Indians with many different cultures, different customs, and different ways of life occupied the land prior to the arrival of the Europeans. One side of this study titled “The Geography of Indian Culture” shows North America and the approximate areas occupied by the various tribes and sub-groups of tribes. Included are descriptions and illustrations of some of the tribal groups. The reverse-side is titled “North America Before Columbus” and contains a physical map of North America and discusses the groupings that occupied North America from about 10,000 BC to the 16th century. Included is a chronology of the North American past in the east, the west, the north, plus a comparison with the old world.
