A Special Note for My Customers in the USA
Effective Date: August 29, 2025 12:01AM
Suspension of the de Minimis Exemption For ALL Imported Goods
The
U.S. will no longer allow duty-free entry for shipments valued at $800
or less. This means that all goods entering the U.S. will be subject to
tariffs, regardless of their value, unless they qualify for specific
exemptions under trade agreements like CUSMA.
New Duty Calculation:
Ad valorem duty based on the country of origin (10% to 50+%) OR a Specific duty ranging from $80 to $200 per item!!!
eBay and eBay sellers do not charge, collect or administer tariffs.
This
is done by the US Customs Agency. They charge US citizens this tax.
This tax hurts both Americans as well as those of us wishing to sell to
the USA. You can expect prices on everything to keep rising.
As
a result of this unsound decision by your "stable genius" economic
wizard of a president, currently end costs will be so high and unpredictable for US buyers that I am
unable to ship to the USA as of August 26. This may change in a few
months as the situation stabilizes and eBay International Shipping is
implemented for Canadian sellers. Stay Tuned
