Germany, Ulm, Gulden Klippe, 1704, Uncirculated. This is a restrike of a 1 Gulden coin from Ulm, Germany from 1704. The legend on one side is "MONETA ARGENT REIP ULMENSIS" which means silver money of the Free Imperial City of Ulm. The other side has "DA PACEM NOBIS DOMINE 1704" which translates to "Give us peace, oh Lord 1704." The type was struck for the liberation of Ulm by Prince Eugene of Savoy in 1704 during the War for the Spanish Succession. It comes in a display case.
