Created in 1973, the Riviera's return last 2021 aims to revive the spirit of a distinguished watchmaking era. This Riviera Chronograph is robust, reliable, and carries a tried and tested automatic movement. It features a 43 mm black ADLC-coated steel dodecagonal case with a fixed bezel, fastened with 4 screws and an octagonal signed crown at the 3 o'clock position. A ring of yellow gold PVD bilaterally separates the bezel from the rest of the case. Safely within is a black dial layered with a wave pattern motif and adorned with silver-tone and luminescent skeleton-obelisk hands with applied indices and a cut-out Roman numeral "XII" as hour markers. Complementing it further is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, 3 registers for elapsed time (seconds, minutes & hours), yellow gold-tone chronograph hands, day/date apertures, rectangular pushers, and the brand's emblem that is etched on the crown. It is fitted with a black rubber strap and secured by a triple folding clasp with security push-pieces. This watch has an exhibition caseback showcasing the Valjoux-based caliber BM13-7750, a Swiss automatic movement that beats 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 48 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
