Vintage Japanese produce sampling folding knife. The term "Produce Knife" comes from traditional use to skin, slice, & sample fresh produce at market.  Handle is faux mother of pearl. Stainless steel liners and brass pins with nickel silver bolsters. High quality stainless steel from Japan. Excellent craftsmanship. Knife measures 2 3/4"" closed and 4 3/4" when fully open. The knife has 2 blades. The main blade is clip point style measuring 2". The 2nd blade is 1 1/4" in a drop point style. Main blade has maker's mark "Sabre Japan 678" stamped into blade ricasso. 2nd blade has a stamp of "Stainless Steel". Faint scratches, rub marks visible on blades but no gouges, pitting, or material damage.
