This is a great, signed piece that features a Picasso-esque, abstract, line drawing of what appears to be a bison hunt on paper. A spear-wielding figure sits astride a rearing horse ready to bring down a noble bison. In spite of its minimalism, the piece is incredibly dynamic with swirling lines and small areas of color blocking. The mixed media piece would be a lovely modern addition to a rustic cabin or an interesting inclusion in a gallery wall. The art is professionally matted and framed with a black frame retaining the foil label on the back. The signature appears to read “Ann East” with a shooting star. It is in great condition with only the most minor wear commensurate with its age, display, and storage; there are some faint “halos” around areas of color where the ink/paint has bled in the paper fibers. Including the frame, it measures approximately 13.5”x17.75”.
