Photo shows Nawabzadi Ismat Khanum Mawlabacksh, beautiful daughter of Nawab Mawlabacksh Khan Bahadur, C.I.E., the chief minister of Bahawalpur. She has been in England some two years where she went under the kind patronage of Her Excellency the Lady Reading to learn medical training. The Earl of Reading is the viceroy of India. She has returned to India recently after successfully passing all her examinations. She even passed through the difficult D.M.B. examination. The young Indian girl will take charge of the Lady Reading's female hospital at Simla sometime this spring.Photo measures 6.5 x 8.5inches. Photo is dated 02-09-1926.
