The Summit Trail Climber AT02 is an all terrain, all weather tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Summit offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The model increases the load durability and damage resistance. The tire's strengthened structure and the rubber compound withstand load pressure throughout the performance, maintaining the optimal tire shape at all times. This helps to securely handle heavy loads with ease, increasing the tire's better load durability. On the other hand, the tread design and the special silica compound resist tread and casing damage throughout the performance. As a result, the tread's chipping and cracking do not shorten the tire's service life.

Great all weather grip is promoted with this model. The all weather compound and the special tread design increase the dry, wet, and winter-weather grip. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in versatile temperatures, enhancing the summer-to-winter performance safety. The tread design with the siping placement firmly grips the road with extra biting edges, which enhances the year-round traction. The tread's groove pattern avoids hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint.

Its aggressive tread design, with the staggered blocks and the high void ratio, offers great all terrain grip. The tread provides great traction and self-cleaning capabilities. The optimal block placement and the high void ratio work together in order to improve its on-road, as well we soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. Their combination enables its exceptional forward motion on various terrains, while also eliminating mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. Stone retention is avoided in this manner. It also makes sure mud and snow do not block surface contact, promoting a safer driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
