My Favorite Hymns

Hymns have been a very important part of my life since childhood. Because of this, it has been very difficult to select just ten of my favorites for this album.

I feel that much of Christianity’s vitality—that which has helped to make this country a great country and which will help to preserve the freedom we know and love—lies in its hymns. Their mighty surge, their tender lyrics, their triumphant joy help to inspire us in our walk with the Lord. As they well up from the uncharted depths within us, they reassert that childlike faith we are often on the brink of losing.

This is why I share with you now, ten of “My Favorite Hymns.”
