Nice, unissued cloth branch of service (BOS) collar device for a Engineer Corps officer of the US Army. This is a 1950s or Vietnam War era patch, embroidered on olive green cotton poplin fabric. Intended for wear with any of the various OD and olive green combat uniforms from that era. This one is in mint condition, although the edges have been folded over and sewn flat to faciliate easier affixing to a uniform collar.
