3M(TM) CeQUIN X Inorganic Insulating Paper is an inorganic-based paper for high-temperature electrical insulating applications. Qualified for use in electrical insulation systems up to Class 220(R) per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085; CSA Component Acceptance at 220°C. A thinner, stiffer version of 3M(TM) CeQUIN Inorganic Insulating Paper with improved wet strength that allows the paper to be B-stage coated. Applications include ground and layer insulation in dry-type transformers, as well as interwinding insulation in strip-wound coils and electromagnet coils; and pole insulation in traction motors. The inorganic content in CeQUIN X papers offers excellent thermal and dielectric stability, as well as high thermal conductivity, long-term voltage endurance, and low moisture absorption. CeQUIN X papers are compatible with commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins, and are easily impregnated, further enhancing thermal conductivity and coil bonding characteristics. 3M(TM) Innovative Paper Technologies UL Recognized Insulation Systems
