Because most car’s 12v cigarette lighter port is with fuse 15A, then formula P=UI(180W=12V x 15A), so you won't be able to use device which is more than 180W if connect with car‘s 12V cigarette lighter ports; unless you plug directly into car's battery, or connect to a 12V battery.Please check the ampere of the fuse in your car.

3. Be sure to turn it off or unplug when you shut off your vehicle as some vehicles still allow charging even when the ignition is off and it will Loss of battery power.
