Description:
The ball joint extenders are sold in pairs! These extenders are designed specifically for vehicles with 17mm ball joint shafts, such as the VW Golf Mk1, Jetta Mk1, and early Mk2 models. They bring the wishbone angles back to the manufacturer’s original design, reduce stress and wear on wishbone bushes and anti-roll bars (ARB), and allow the use of a tie rod flip to reduce bump steer.

The extenders stop wishbones from clashing with the subframe by raising the hub by 50mm. Custom raise options are available upon request — please contact us for a custom order.

Manufactured from super tough steel grade 45 (see international analogs for reference), the extenders feature a threaded design for maximum clamping force. High-quality 10.9 class bolts and self-locking nuts are included. The clamp slot is optimized for full-length clamping of the existing ball joint.

Installation:
The extenders are installed by threading onto the existing ball joint shaft, using the included bolts and self-locking nuts for a secure fit. Please ensure the ball joint shaft diameter is 17mm before purchasing, as these extenders will not fit VR6 models or ball joints with threaded shafts.

Important Notes:

• Compatibility: Only suitable for 17mm shaft ball joints. Will not fit VR6 and threaded ball joints.
