Accompanying some of the world's greatest explorers in their conquest of the air, sea, and land for nearly a century, the Longines Spirit collection brings to life the pioneering spirit that drove these extraordinary men and women to surpass themselves, pursue new ambitions, and believe in the impossible. This Longines Spirit Chronometer features a 40 mm stainless steel case that holds a matte green dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It also has silver-tone and luminescent pencil hands with applied Arabic numerals as hour markers. A polished silver-tone ring separates the main dial from the outer minute track where diamond-shaped luminescent markers are laid out every 5-minute intervals, lining up with the red and diamond-shaped tip of the revolving second hand. Complementing this chronometer are distinctive silver-tone winged and 5-star emblems, white dial texts, a discreet date window at the 3 o'clock position, and an oversized screw-down crown. It is fitted with a brown leather strap and secured by a stainless steel signed buckle. The solid case-back is decorated with Longines' winged hourglass over a globe meridian background. Encased within is the caliber L888.4, a COSC-certified Swiss automatic chronometer movement beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour generating up to 72 hours of power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/300 feet.
