Historic City Point, Virginia  was the main Union Army Supply Depot for the Army of the Potomac  during the last years of the Civil War.  
      An original  Union Army Ordnance Invoice, listing Schenkl & Hotchkiss shells & case shot rounds turned over to Capt RA Stanton, Ordnance Officer,  by Captain Morris Schaff, and signed by Lt Schaff at City Point, Virginia, June 25, 1864.
     Comes w service info- Morris Schaff, a Kirkersville, Ohio native  was a West Point friend of Custer & John Pelham, a notable Civil War ordnance officer who served in most of the 1864-65 Campaigns  & author of "The Battle of the Wilderness" where his life was saved when his belt buckle deflected a Minie Ball.
