The History of
... Panerai... was founded in 1860 in Florence by Giovanni Panerai and
is now considered the most famous Italian watch company. Panerai
started his business by producing measurement and precision systems
for the Italian Navy, which gradually led to an affinity for
watchmaking and other precision instruments. In 1930, Panerai watches
were well known in the Italian military and the company had an exclusive
contract with the Navy to produce their watches and aiming sites for
various types of weaponry. The ruggedness and durability of the
Panerai watches is still symbolic today, and the company only started
producing wristwatches for the general public in 1993. Currently
Panerai produces a very limited number of pieces and therefore keeps
demand high. Each piece is numbered on the back out of how many were
produced that year. Limited edition collections and the company’s
impressive history are some of the strongest arguments for purchasing a
Panerai watch. Although the military history suggests power and
precision, Panerai watches are finely tuned mechanisms encased in
elegant and stylish cases...

watch describe is an Swiss made Panerai FER00012 Granturismo 8 Days GMT
polished Stainless Steel cushion shaped case measuring 45mm diameter.
Fixed Stainless Steel bezel. Manual wound movement, power reserve to
192 hours / 8 days. Displays a Black hobnail-patterned grid dial with
dial with White Arabic numerals on a fixed, 60-minute scale on the
flange, baton hour markers, luminous hands, second time zone indicated
by the red arrowhead centre hand... Ferrari Logo and Prancing Horse.
Black Sub-dials: Small second with 24 hour day/night red indicator at
9, Power reserve at 6, and magnified calendar date indicator at 3
o'clock. Stainless steel pull out Hobnailed winding crown with the
Ferrari logo, Slightly Cambered (domed) Sapphire Crystal with
anti-reflective coating, Anti Reflective Crystal exhibition caseback,
decorated with metallic grid. Black Leather Strap with Ferrari
Deployment Buckle and additional Black Rubber strap. Water resistant to
100 meters / 330 feet. Display - Ferrari Shield, Caseback - round the
edge is engraved the inscription "Engineered by OFFICINE PANERAI" &
numbered, Movement signed.... Production of 500 pieces...

than a collaboration between these two incredible companies... Panerai
and Ferrari are each a hallmark of exceptional quality and they are
both at the top of their respective fields. The watches they have
produced together reflect the best of everything each company
represents. The design, workmanship, durability and functionality are
second to none. This piece is stunning with the color choices and dial
design. Black Sub-dials: Small second and 24 hour day/night red
indicator at 9 with applied cone-section rings in steel, circular Power
reserve, with a red rotating disc, indicator at 6 o'clock and
