Overview

This Black Ash uPVC capping board is designed for covering existing window boards and lining window reveals. The 9mm exterior-grade uPVC construction provides a durable, colour-stable and low-maintenance finish, making it suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and other high-humidity areas.

Fitting

  1. Cut the capping length to match the overall length of the existing window board.
  2. Cut the back edge to match the window board depth, allowing for the 9mm downward leg.
  3. Measure the reveal and cut out any joggles as required.
  4. Apply suitable quick-grab adhesive to the existing window board.
  5. Place the capping firmly on top and press into position for a secure bond.
  6. Trim the end caps to the required length, fix with superglue, then seal edges with decorators caulk if required.
