Very good in original blue cloth with gilt title on spine and front cover. Shelf wear on cover but tight binding. Damage to back cover veneer dee photo.

This book was originally self-published published by the author and went through two printings. After LePaul's death, the rights were acquired by Louis Tannen and this appears to be the 3rd edition or the first Louis Tannen edition. One of the best modern books on close up card magic. Unlike the more recent softbound printings, the lavish photo illustrations are clear in this edition. 219 pages of sleights and routines with playing cards. Also included is a brief biographical sketch of Le Paul by Robert Parrish.
