Vintage c. 1960's Gallery Quality Large Original Impressionistic Oil On Canvas "Walking In A Field" By Eileen Jones Montrec, American (1930 - 2003)!

EILEEN JONES MONTREC is known for Genre, figure, French impressionist, still life, landscapes, island scenery.
She was born Mildred Eileen Jones in Baltimore, MD in 1930. She lived her early adult life in Long Island, NY where she operated a commercial gallery. She eventually moved to Hawaii where she operated a commercial gallery in Princeville on the island of Kauai. She later moved to the island of Maui where she died on Oct 21, 2003.
Her early work was mostly of a French impressionist style and some still life work. She always signed her paintings “EJones”. However, in late 60’s and the 70’s she also signed as “Montrec”. Her artwork in her later years in Hawaii was focused on natural landscapes of the island scenery.

The product is a stunning original oil painting by American artist Eileen Jones Montrec, created in the 1960's.  This very beautiful piece depicts two teenagers gazing out in the field under cloudy sky.  The scene is surrounded by lush greenery of grass and trees.  Performed in vibrant calm colors with narrow brushstrokes, this Impressionist artwork features a landscape with figures, showcasing a mix of nature, art, and people.
