50th anniversary of Streetlife Serenade. SACD multi-hybrid version debuts in Japan for the first time!

His third solo album following his masterpiece Piano Man (1973). Billy, who aspires to be a "street minstrel," simply expresses the various figures of people passing by on the streets of LA in his music, creating a nostalgic and charming work that is unique to Billy.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release, the quadraphonic LP, which has never been released in Japan, has been made into a SACD for the first time in Japan!

The 4ch SACD layer is a high-quality surround mix of the quadraLP's analog 4ch mix master source, mastered to DSD at Sony Music Studios in Japan. The 2ch SACD layer is a high-quality stereo mix of the analog 2ch mix master source, mastered to DSD, and the CD layer is a newly mastered source converted from the SACD DSD master to PCM.

In addition, DISC 2 (high-quality Blu-spec CD2 specifications) is the world's first CD release of "LIVE AT THE GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL - 1975," recorded at the concert on June 8, 1975 during the "Streetlife Serenade" tour! In addition, it is packed with valuable memorabilia, such as the 1974 US press kit, 7-inch single jackets from four countries, and replicas of two Japanese LP obi strips, making it a must-have for fans (with lyrics, translations, and commentary).
