George Tice is gone but his art lives on.

Here is his famous photographic essay of my hometown, Paterson, New Jersey. The book includes an image especially important to me: "Car for Sale, April, 1969." To take this photograph he set up his 8 x 10 view camera on the sidewalk in front of my grandmother's house on Cliff Street.
