This kit uses 3 separate 2-digit digital tubes to display the time in hours, minutes and seconds respectively, with two small LEDs instead of colons for spacing, making the display of hours and seconds less compact and more natural looking. In addition to being able to display the time, it also extends the function of time calibration, alarm clock ringing function, countdown function, stopwatch function and counter function. The realization of the function is mainly through the programming control of the microcontroller, using the microcontroller internal timer for timing. The kit is moderately difficult to produce, practical, can improve the understanding of the 51 series of microcontrollers, suitable for electronic beginners to learn and welding practice.
