The reverse of the dust jacket advertises 352 available books published by The Modern Library, which helps us date this copy to circa 1951.

The dust jacket has the price clipped, but otherwise is in nice condition. The half title page is slightly torn at the inside margin where it was glued to the front free endpaper in the binding process. That does not affect the text (see photo). The text is clean, with no bookplates, ink names, or pen/pencil notations.
