While inheriting the compact and lightweight concept of the α7C, the α7C has evolved in various ways to further expand the shooting range for both still images and movies.

Equipped with a back-illuminated 35mm full-size CMOS sensor with a maximum effective pixel count of approximately 33 million pixels. The high image quality of the full-size sensor and the blurred expression achieved by the shallow depth of field dramatically enhance the quality of expression and further expand the shooting range for still images and movies.

The latest image processing engine, BIONZ XR, is employed. The BIONZ XR image processing engine delivers up to 8 times faster processing speed than its predecessor, greatly improving image processing performance for still and video capture.

The AI processing unit uses skeletal information and posture estimation technology to accurately recognize the shape and movement of the subject and the position of the human torso and head, as well as the eyes.

■[Animal] recognition targets have also been expanded. In addition to recognizing the heads and faces of animals such as dogs and cats, it is now easier to recognize the eyes of some herbivores and small animals.

The latest image processing engine, BIONZ XR, and its wide dynamic range enable 4K 60p video recording at Super 35mm. This enables the recording of natural and smooth images even of fast-moving subjects.

The total image stabilization system has been advanced with a high-precision image stabilization unit, gyro sensor, and optimized algorithms. The amount of camera shake is detected with high precision and optically compensated by the latest image stabilization algorithm, resulting in overwhelmingly stable video recording.

The compact design of the camera is designed to provide comfortable operability and reliability, thanks to the placement of the ■ dials and custom buttons. The shutter release button has also been enlarged for more comfortable shooting.
