Book - Karosa 700/900

This new hardback book with Czech text on the Karosa 700/900 range of buses, written by Martin Harak, was published in the Czech Republic in 2024. It looks at the range of Karosa 700/900 buses and coaches, which was produced from the 1980s through to the 1990s. 

The book has 216 pages with 136 colour & 28 b/w photos. Plus 18 pages of line drawings and 16 pages of technical tables. The book measures 17cm x 22cm.

The book looks at the Karosa 700/900 - factory production, interior shots, Karosa bodies, prototypes, special bodies - libraries, shops, mobile theatres, open-top sightseeing. Also Liaz engines, bendy-buses, the Renault take-over, export model for Taiwan, GT 11 Luxusbus, export models to Yugoslavia, Russia & Mongolia, models built in Slovakia, the Iveco take-over, trolleybus version in North Korea.  

Despite the Czech text, this book would make an excellent addition to the enthusiast's library.
