This is a superb boxed Campo Del Cielo meteorite.

The Campo Del Cielo fall is one of the largest known strewnfields, and also one of the most popular iron meteorites.
It is a very stable meteorite and not prone to rusting as Nantan often can be.

The fall was discovered in Argentina in the year 1516 though the fall itself is thought to be at least 50,000 years ago.

The  specimen weighs  2.91 grams 

Measures  1.3cm across at it's widest point


 Nicely labelled and  boxed in a protective padded plastic box.

 

You will also receive a signed certificate of authenticity and an exclusive free gift , an illustrated A4 meteorite information sheet.
This was written by Mark Ford - Secretary of the BIMS (British And Irish Meteorite Society) and gives a useful overview of meteorites.
It will offer no revelations to a dedicated meteorite buff, but will be indispensable for a complete novice.
