A pillar of Ebel's renown in the '70s and '80s, the relaunch of the Sport Classic collection, an icon of 1970s sport chic design, is a tribute to the brand's formidable craftsmanship. This Sport Classic features a 40 mm stainless steel case with a signed crown, both in a distinctive hexagonal shape that holds a sunray anthracite galvanic dial under a scratch-resistant flat sapphire crystal. Protecting the crystal is a polished and raised fixed bezel affixed with five screws while the case sides allude to the original design with a polished chamfer. It has silver-tone sword hands and applied Roman numerals as hour markers. The beveled date window is positioned at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to the signed crown. It is equipped with a stainless steel integrated bracelet and secured by a folding clasp. Encased underneath the exhibition caseback is the Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
