OVERVIEW

The Ironman All Country A/T (OE) is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles.

The tire promotes a stronger versatile terrain gripping ability. The aggressive tread design with the large, staggered block pattern and the high void ratio increases the tire's grip on soft, loose and uneven terrains. These tread elements and the tire's sidewall buttress design work together to provide adequate biting edges in order to ensure the model's forward motion. In this manner, the tire does not get stuck when driving in deep mud and on loose dirt. Instead, the tread design and the sidewall pattern increase the number of biting edges to propel the tire forward. The tread elements also manage to keep a clean footprint. They disperse mud and snow stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from blocking the tire's surface contact. As a result, the tire ensures a safer on- and off-road performance.

The self-cleaning tread design also helps protect the tire from damage. The staggered block placement and the high void ratio work together to prevent rocks from lodging between the tread elements during the tire's performance. Instead, they are ejected from the footprint before they can drill into the tread area and harm the casing. The sidewall buttress design on the other hand protects the tire from off-road damage. It avoids punctures from damaging the tire on rough terrain surface conditions. This results in a safer performing capability.

The stronger construction and the optimal tread block placement boost the models' heavy load controllability. The strengthened internal structure features steel belts which maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. In this manner, the tire greatly boosts the load durability by preventing the tire's deformation under heavy pressure. This results in the tire's better load durability and its higher overall load capacity. The tread pattern's surface contact boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability by optimizing the tire's surface contact. This allows the tire to upgrade the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. As a result, the tire guarantees a safer driving experience as it ensures the driver's constant control over the vehicle.

The All Country A/T (OE) promotes a longer lasting usability. The stronger compound and the stabilized block pattern enhance the tread life length. The compound stabilizes the rubber flexibility and strengthens the rubber elements against tread wear, which reduces the tread wear rate. The optimal block placement provides excellent tread stability. This enables the tire to lower the possibility of tread flexing during the drive. In this manner, the tire is able to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking significantly resist irregular wear formations, lengthening the model's service and tread life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
