This is a factory sealed Broadway Limited Imports N Scale USRA Heavy Mikado Locomotive with Factory Installed Paragon 3 Sound/DCC/DC Decoder in the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Paint Scheme. The locomotive number is 3278 (Item #5950). This locomotive is ready-to-run.
For the first time in N scale, BLI is bringing out the USRA Light and Heavy 2-8-2 designs, commonly called Heavy Mikados and Light Mikados! There were 233 original USRA Heavy 2-8-2's built plus another 957 copies, covering 23 railroads. It was an extremely successful design. The USRA Heavy Mikados used pretty much the same running gear as the Light Mik's, but the boilers were 10 inches larger in diameter and they had larger cylinders as well. Tractive effort was about 10% higher for the heavy 2-8-2's.
As for the USRA Light Mikados, the USRA built 625 total, with 641 copies built after the USRA ended control. With copies, over 50 railroads used the USRA Light 2-8-2's.
BLI's models follow the original designs closely. Railroad specific variations are not modeled on these locomotives. In most instances we offer two locomotive numbers for each railroad, and we are offering a painted model (black) with no lettering.

Worst Case example:

USPS Express Mail (2-3 business day delivery in the U.S.)
Depending on when your order is submitted and PayPal releases the order to us as "OK to ship", the time of delivery that eBay estimates may not be valid as the actual "Guaranteed Delivery" time of the United States Postal Service. The difference often varies 24 hours or more.
The USPS only guarantees delivery for an Express Parcel after the shipping fee is paid to them and the label printed by the shipper.
We have no control over the USPS and make NO Guarantees beyond the USPS Guaranteed Delivery time.
When your order is processed during our "Shipping Day" the label is printed and tracking information is provided to you "the customer" through eBay. The customer can then view the actual Guaranteed Delivery time by entering the tracking number on USPS.com.
