The print presents Phar Lap's history. In 1930 , Phar Lap raced 21 times for 19 victories and two placings.
This unprecedented run included VRC and AJC St Leger wins, the first of two Cox Plates and success on each of the four days of the Flemington Spring Carnival.
Phar Lap departed for America in 1932. He dominated the weight-for-age contest, coming from last and winning by two lengths.
Just a fortnight later, Phar Lap controversially passed away at California's Menlo Park.
His legend is one that has continued to glow in the decades.
